Camping at CD&J Mini Ranch

If you or your family members love getting close to goats, chickens, cows, pigs, and more, this is just one way to do it.  Camp at CD&J Mini Ranch.  Great for the kids and peaceful for the adults.  Here at CD&J Mini Ranch we are here to show you a good time while you are relaxing under the stars, away from the hustle and bustle of work, school and the city.

Pitch your tent (RVs too), under a mesquite tree and enjoy the quiet solitude of our isolated ranch. Enjoy some of the best our ranch has to offer, fresh farm eggs, homemade artisan jellies, grass fed beef, pork, lamb, chicken and more. Drop a fishing line in our private catch and release lake. Wake up to the sounds of our working ranch, rooster crowing, mini goat baaaing, mini cow mooing, peacock fanning, chickens laying everything country. Enjoy a paddle boat ride on our lake, milk a goat, play with the animals and do some bird watching.  South Padre Island and Mexico are only a short drive.
We Hope to see you soon.

We first purchased our 35 acres because we wanted healthier meat and vegetable choices.  We wanted to know where our food came from and what the animals ate, how the vegetables were grown.  We became Certified Naturally Grown and started thinking about ways to treat our land better.  We raise our own beef, pork, chickens, eggs, mostly for our family.  At first, we started out just processing for ourselves but started sharing when we had people ask us for some of our products, especially our freeze-dried food items, eggs and pork.  We now sell all that we raise in CSA Protein Packs at our ranch and we deliver to several locations around the RGV.  We really love what we do and hope you will too.

We kindly ask our members to support their Hosts by purchasing one of their local products with each stay!

CD&J is also part of Hipcamp, a company that allows people to make reservations online or from camping and outdoor stays. It also allows campers to stay at private properties instead of the usual campgrounds and RV parks.
