At CD&J Mini Ranch we offer our grass-fed beef, pastured pork, free range chickens, seasonal turkey, freeze dried products, artisan jelly's, pickles and a variety of homemade products.  Here you will find a sampling of what we sell.

CD&J Ground Pork
CD&J Ground Beef

At CD&J Mini Ranch we raise Angus beef on our 35 acres outside San Benito, Texas. Our beef is Certified Naturally Grown and raised without hormones, additives, or antibiotics. We process our animals through a USDA and state certified processor.  Our ground beef has a wonderful flavor, is juicy, and makes a nutritional hamburger, chili, and tacos. Our beef is approximately 85% lean, grass fed, and you can trust that our cows are raised humanely and that our ground beef is not commingled with other beef when processed.

CD&J Ribeye1

AT CD&J Mini Ranch we sell out of our Ribeye's first. For the ultimate juicy, beefy flavor, a ribeye is a great choice. These flavorful steaks are essentially individually cut prime rib roasts, and they come from the cow's upper rib area. Ribeye are fatty, which allows them to retain their juiciness even when cooked over very high heat.  We sell our steaks in our online store by the piece.  Please click on the steak or name above to shop.

CD&J Eggs

AT CD&J Mini Ranch, we raise Rhode Island Red chickens for their large and extra large brown eggs.  We also raise American White Breese, for their large cream colored eggs.

CD&J Mini Ranch is a 35 acre Certified Naturally Grown, woman & veteran owned ranch in deep South Texas.

Cynthia & David Cook specialize in growing sustainable produce in their 30'x90' high tunnel and in several raised beds that they maintain, with no herbicides or pesticides. These produce are used in their homemade food items that they sell and consume such as freeze-dried vegetables, herbs and snacks.

They began raising vegetables and their farm animals for their own consumption, knowing where their food came from, what their animals eat, how they are handled, where their vegetables are grown and how they are grown is very important to their whole family and to the customers that they serve.

This year they have partnered with several local farmers, who are like minded in how they raise their vegetables.  They have done this to provide their customers with more vegetables and hopefully a larger selection, and longer period of vegetable delivery.  Below is information about our Vegetable CSAs.  You can still purchase individual vegetables when available, but CSA members receive their boxes of vegetables weekly, first and delivery is included.

Our Farmer Partners are in Harlingen, La Feria, and Edinburg.  They will begin their Vegetable CSAs in November 2023, depending on their location.  We will have several CSA sizes and prices for you to choose from. We may add additional locations at a later time.
Here are the tentative Pickup locations:

CD&J Mini Ranch, East of San Benito on Friday evenings

Harlingen Saturday mornings.
La Feria, Thursday evenings
Edinburg, McAllen and Weslaco, Saturday and Sunday's mornings and afternoons

You will be able to pick up directly from the farmer or from several farmers markets.  This is tentative and we will have more information from the farmers as time goes on.  If you are interested in getting fresh vegetables from our Valley farmers this fall & winter season,  please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at this email address cdjminiranch@gmail.com  The vegetable CSAs are limited so first come first serve.
